Bin-Laden- Death

I remember I was in 2nd grade when this happened. I remember I was in Mexico and I remember my teachers talking about it. I remember my mom was all in panic because my 2 sisters and my brother were here and she was trying to communicate with them because she was afraid of another attack in Dallas, since is a major city.

Animals

My funniest animal memory was when i was in 8th grade. I remember our class went to the Dallas Aquarium, my friend Ilse and me were waiting all excited to enter.At the entrance there was a lot of birds, the funny thing is that once my friend and me entered them birds poop on us. All my friends and me started screaming and running trying to look for a restroom. I know it was gross but it was really funny after it happened.

Stealing

I remember when I was in kinder garden I used to steals kids' lunch. I remember I used to eat a lot, so I would eat my lunch and then take someone's lunch. Even though I think its funny I think it doesn't really matter how big what matters is the action. I never got caught, so I didn't have a punishment. I honestly regret that I stole those kids' lunches because now that I think about it they didn't eat because of me.:/

Best Friends Forever

 

My best friend is Giovannia A.K.A Gio :). I meet her on my freshman year in high school. We were in Coach Villines health class. What I like the most about her is that she is totally outgoing. I also like that she is such an adorable girl in who I can always count on. I love being around her because she is totally hilarious. She is very athletic, I like running with her because she would not give up and that pushes me to keep on going. I like hanging with her because is for sure we are going to have fun, especially if we are with my friend Eddy :). I like going out to eat with her because we are so alike, even people think we are sisters. I wish I could be positive about things.

Scary

When I was a little kid, I was afraid of the sound of the blender. Every time my mom would turn the blender on I would start crying. So every time my mom was going to turn it on my sisters took me outside while my mom was using the blender.

I Want the Gold

My favorite person in the video was that dude that who has the flute that's "thousands of years old", passed down to him by his great, great grandfather who was Irish. I would have believed him if he would have said 100 years. The dude that says something about the Leprechaun and everyone start yelling, I think that dude is funny. The only superstition I can think of right now is the one about the mirror. “If you break a mirror, you'll have 7 years of bad luck"

It's Fun to do Bad Things

I was 8 years old, and I felt so desperate because I wanted to eat some candy but I didn't have money.

So I decided to jump into my neighbor’s garden and I took some flowers from it. I put some of the together so I could sell them. I sold them to my neighbors for like 2 dollars each. I got the money and I bought a bunch of candy. The thing I can't understand is how people bought those ugly flowers from me?. Well I have no idea but those candies that i bought with the money I got were good :)

My Goals

 To me "All's well that ends well" means that all one’s pains and struggles during a difficult task are soon forgotten when the task is complete. I think it is true because at the end  of the story, when you feel accomplished you don't think that much about all the struggles you past through. One example of   "All's well that ends well"  is when I went to summer camp. At first I didnt wanted to go, I thought it was too boring. I argued a lot with my parents because I didnt wanted to go. but once I got there, I was glad I went to Camp.

Charlie Bit Me

I honestly try not to have the Schadenfreude feeling, but I had felt that in the past. I think if you are a bad person and somthing bad happens to you, I probably would not laugh at it. However, I am going to think that you deserved it. Like my mom always tells me "Things happen for a reason".

Most Embarrassing Moment

The most embarrassing moment was when I was 13 years old. I was at the movie theatre with my friends; we wanted to watch a movie rated PG-13. The ticket lady did not want to sell us the tickets because we were too young, and we needed to be with our parents. We all agree to buy a ticket to a movie rated G, but our intention wasn't to go watch that movie. We decided we were going to sneak into the other movie. We watched around 15 minutes when the security guard came to take us out of the movie. It was embarrassing because everyone was looking at us.

Speaking With Authority

Honestly, That video got me thinking because it made realize that sometimes I don't think before I speak. Now that I think about it, I think, I've hurt someone in the past by not thinking before speak. if we think before we speak, we can better our society. Also if we use appropriate language to communicate with others, our society would become better.

President

If I were the President, 

• I would prohibit abortion.
• I would give everyone health care.
• I would also give more opportunities to all the immigrants to go to college and get scholarships.

Valentine

Jake couldn't wait to get to school. Today was the day of the class Valentine's Day party. He wanted to surprise his girlfriend Amanda. He is very creative and romantic guy, so he drew a picture of her and he also wrote her a song. To make it even more romantic he bought her some white and red roses and a ring. When she saw him with all the things he had for her, she started crying she huged him and she gave him a the biggest surprise ever...

Should We Spare the Rod?

I do not think children should be disciplined using force. Hitting children is not the most effective way to solve the problem. In my opinion, hitting a children might solve the problem in that moment, but as the years pass by, the children would fear their parents and in some cases the kids would develope some rancor against their parents.

Would You Rather

I would rather have a beautiful house and ugly car because has a wife I would have to stay at the house taking care of my children; and that means I would spend most of the time at my house.

   

I would rather have a husband who is really smart, but not cute at all because if the guy is really cute but dumb I would get tired of him at th eend of the story. Plus smart people make smart choices.

I would  rather be able to read minds, because if people can't express their feelings I would know what they thinking and also help them if they have problems

Story Time, Part 3

They all deposited money on the bank to help the people. Ashley was glad to collect money, but she wanted to duplicate the amount of money they wanted to donate. One day they got a check with a pretty good amount of money, which was derived  from big company of the town, they found out about what Ashley and her friends were doing. All of Ashley's friends collected enough money to help the people who needed  it. At the end they all got an award, given by the Mayor.

Story Time, The Sequel

On February 17, 2010 the school district disclosed that school was canceled for that day. Ashley was not excited about not going to school, differentiates her from the other students. That depicts how she feels about going to school. In other words she likes school. Ashley was watching the news, and they announced that they needed people to contribute on a big cause, the cause was that a lot of residents didn't have food to eat, and they needed help from people like Ashley to help the ones who are in need. She picked up the phone and called all her friends so they could cooperate in the cause.

Story Time

Here in Texas, we have a diverse of weather. In 2010, Texas had  the most drastic changes related to weather. In December 2009 it snow, but it was just a little bit, but on February 2010 we can say that the amount of snow duplicate from the one in December. We all have to take care of us, as well of our domestic pets. Also be safe.

New Years Eve

My best New Years was in Mexico 2007, I was with my friends and family. We were outside and we did a bonfire, we all were eating marshmallows. We spent the night outside looking at the stars, we also saw a shooting star; so we all made a wish. It was so great that I would never forget that day.

My worse New Years was in Houston, Texas, my family and I went to spend some days with my dad's family. 1st of all we got lost on the way there, my dad tried to call my uncle but he didn't answer the phone. My brother got the chicken pox. finally when we got to my uncle's house. there was no one in there, they were at some party. We went to the party and my dress was all messed up, it had a big stain and i couldn't take it off. We didn't like the party, so we left and went to my uncle's house.It was horrible.  I would never forget that day.

Silver & Gold

A year ago my best friends were Diana and Edgar. I spent most of my time with my friend from church some of them are Lissah, Yesenia, Perla, Dulce, Elisabeth and Crystal.  Now I do not get to see my friend Edgar anymore, because he moved to Chicago and I don't talk to Diana that much, because i see her once in a while. Someone I am friends with now that I didn't know before last year is my friend Eddy.  He is really funny and intelligent.  I am glad I met all these people, because they are who make my life simply amazing. I want to keep the friendship I have, and in order to do that i will stay in contact with them the whole time. :)
